Hannah was born into penguin research. Literally. She is the daughter of Thomas & Ursula and has been in the field with them while still in nappies. Her small frame made Hannah an ideal nest checker for Fiordland tawaki and logger retriever for hoiho. However, her real talent emerged when she was given a remote control for a drone. Since 2022, she is the resident drone pilot next to Thomas and has clocked in many hours of flight time to survey penguins in the sub-antarctics.
